Gold and Precious Metals

Loan USA buys All Precious Metals in Any Condition

The value of your jewelry is based on 3 factors: Weight, Purity, and the wholesale value of any full-cut diamonds.

Rose Gold, Yellow Gold & White Gold - it's all the same. We buy 8 karat gold, 10 karat gold, 12 karat gold, 14 karat gold, 18 karat gold, 22 karat gold and 24 karat gold jewelry.

Broken rings, unmatched earrings, knotted and kinked chains and out-of-style pendants are like finding buried treasure. The “treasure” is the precious metal content of the item. When the item is refined, the precious metal can be reclaimed and recycled.

What about Scrap Precious Metals?

Scrap Precious Metals consist of any gold, silver or platinum material - including coins, chains, charms, bracelets, necklaces, watches, class rings, dental gold, pendants, cufflinks, ingots, gold bars -- anything containing gold, silver, or platinum.

If you're unsure of what grade your material is, just bring it in and let our experts make the determination. We have the latest technology to help us accurately evaluate your material's true value.

How to Identify Precious Metals

14k ring

Gold can usually be identified by markings on your jewelry in karats, such as: 8kt, 9kt, 10kt, 14kt, 18kt, 22kt or 24kt. Some gold may be marked as .417 for 10kt, .585 for 14kt, and .750 for 18kt.

Yellow and white are the most common colors for gold, but gold can also be green and rose-colored.

Silver will have one of the following markings on the piece:  STERLING or 925 on the piece.

platinum ring

Platinum jewelry will have one of the following markings on the piece:  .950 or PLAT
